Dear Owners,

Please be advised that the June 6, 2023 Zoom meeting that was scheduled for 5:30 PM regarding Lakewood CC and StarAbility has been cancelled. We were informed that Collier County has ruled that these meetings are to be in person.
Information on a rescheduled meeting for them will follow.

Lakewood Country Club situation
Posted on Mar 30th, 2023 Comments (1)
Hello Neighbors,

If you were in attendance during the recent Annual HOA meeting, thank you.  As you know, the Board of Directors is monitoring the situation with the proposal made to add a STARability facility.  At that time, we also put out information regarding the first public meeting held by the development company.  This meeting was well attended by the entire Lakewood Community.

The master association (Lakewood Community Services LCS) has organized a committee that will help disseminate information and try to organize the opposition to this plan.

As this committee comes together - Lakewood Single Family I HOA has agreed to post information on this website.  Please stay tuned for updates as we get them from the committee.  In addition, you should have received an email from Cambridge management about the recent meeting.  If you have given them your email address they will mirror what we post here on the site.

The LSFI HOA Board of Directors has not made any public decision regarding our position.  With that said, most are not in favor of this plan to develop the area.  We are completely opposed to any new development on the golf course itself!

Stay tuned for updates.

Where to get a new mailbox

The BOD thought it would be great to help our homeowners by pointing you to a couple of businesses that provide mailboxes (post and box) that is acceptable per the by-laws.  Remember you must comply with the by-laws when erecting a new mailbox.  Painting an old wooden mailbox black will not be acceptable by the BOD.
