2025 Annual HOA Meeting
Posted on Mar 20th, 2025
Recently we met for the annual HOA meeting. We couldn’t hold the meeting because we didn’t reach the minimum number of homeowners—either in person or by proxy—for a quorum (we needed 38). With 188 homes in our association, we only received 24 proxy votes. As a result, the board will now have to invest more time and money to collect enough proxies just to handle basic business.
We get it—having an HOA can feel like a hassle. But our board keeps things as low-key as possible. Our main focus? Keeping the neighborhood looking sharp to protect property values, while staying out of your way as much as we can. All we ask in return is one small thing: please send back your proxy votes each year.
Here’s the flip side—if the HOA were dissolved, you’d lose any leverage to deal with neighbors who let their yards go wild, park on the grass, blast noise, speed through the streets, or cause other headaches. The HOA board steps up as the “bad guy”, so you don’t have to, all to keep our community’s vibe and value intact.
Lend us a hand—return those proxies, please.
